How it works
A simple introduction.
A new opportunity.
Three steps. You do the first one. We do the rest. See every step, with who does it and how long it takes
Introduce
Your partTell us about a company you know. Name only, nothing is shared yet.
Review
We handle thisWe check the fit against the program criteria. If it passes, you make one warm introduction.
License
We handle thisThe AI lab licenses the company’s historical business data under its own agreement with the company. Your part ended at the introduction.
The whole journey, in one loop
The ask
You're bringing an opportunity, not asking a favour.
Established companies are being paid to license historical business data they already hold. Most have never been asked. The conversation is easy because the company has something to gain, and nothing changes hands until it signs directly with the lab.
Built for operators, consultants, founders and anyone with real relationships at established companies. If you can name one company with 20 or more desk staff, you can start.
The whole ask, word for word
“I know someone who works with an AI data lab that pays established businesses to license their historical business data. Want me to connect you?”
That is the only sentence you ever need. We explain the program, the terms and the process with the lab's own materials, so nothing gets misquoted.
For your own context: the lab's published tiers start at $100,000 for a standard data partnership and $500,000 to $2M+ for large or ongoing ones. You never quote figures to the company. We do, with the lab's own numbers.
The offer
One intro.
$25,000.
Established companies are being paid to license business data they already hold. You don't sell or pitch. You register the company and make one warm introduction.
Payout, from the partner agreement
$25,000- Amount
- A fixed $25,000 per company. It does not change with what the program pays us.
- Earned
- Only after you registered the company, we accepted it, you made the introduction, the company signed, and the program paid us.
- Paid
- Within 10 business days of our receiving those funds, by ACH.
- Timing
- The program currently pays about 15 to 30 days after it accepts the company's data, which follows signing. That timing is theirs and can change.
Who qualifies
A company qualifies when
- 20+ full-time desk employees (full-time contractors count)
- Based in the US first; Canada and Europe also qualify, with most of the team there
- At least 2 years of operating history (longer is better: more data)
- Internal company data mostly in English
- Uses 3+ business software tools (Gmail, Slack, a CRM, QuickBooks, a support or project tool) with years of history they own and can license
- Hasn't already licensed that data
Not a fit
- Under 20 desk employees
- Staffing or recruiting firms
- Marketing agencies
- Media companies
- Mostly outside the US, Canada and Europe
- Little digital history (one or two systems), or no right to license it

A note from Taylor
I've always been the guy who knows a guy.
The right introduction can change everything. For as long as I can remember, I've been the person people call when they need one. A founder looking for the right partner. A business owner who needs a door opened. Two people who should've met a long time ago.
My answer is usually the same: “I've got a guy.” It's been a running joke in my life, and honestly, it's the thing I'm best at.
DataReferrals is what happens when that joke meets a very real opportunity. I work with an AI data lab that pays established companies serious money to license the historical business data they already have sitting on a server somewhere. You bring the relationship. We handle the licensing conversation. The company wins, the lab wins, and the person who made the introduction? I decided they should win too. Not with a gift card.
$25,000 for a qualified introduction. I know how that sounds. I said “sheesh” too.
Here's the thing. I could keep every introduction to myself. But I've never built anything alone and I'm not about to start now. If you're the person your friends call when they need a guy, you already have everything this takes. Know a business owner who could be a fit? Register the company, send one warm email, and I'll take it from there.
Let's make your connections count.

The $25,000 is a fixed amount paid on the terms in the partner agreement, after the company signs, its data is accepted and the program pays us.
FAQ
Questions partners ask.
What do I actually have to do?
Register the company in your portal, and if it passes pre-screen, send one warm email introducing the decision-maker to us. We handle every conversation after that. You never pitch, negotiate or discuss terms.
Which companies qualify?
Established companies with 20 or more full-time desk employees, at least two years of history, based mostly in the US (Canada and Europe also qualify), working mostly in English, with meaningful historical operational data they own and have not already licensed. A company in bankruptcy or winding down qualifies too, when the estate controls the data. Staffing, recruiting, marketing agencies and media companies are not a fit.
What happens to the company’s data?
If the company proceeds, it signs a data partnership directly with the AI data lab, on the lab’s terms. DataReferrals does not receive, store or handle the company’s data.
Who is the lab?
An AI data lab we work with under a referral agreement. Its identity is confidential and is shared with partners under the partner agreement, not on this page.
Who operates DataReferrals?
DataReferrals was founded by Taylor Tomblin and is based in Wyoming. You can reach us at taylor@datareferrals.com. Our privacy notice and terms carry the legal details.
How long does it take?
We respond to each registration within 5 business days. The lab’s review usually takes a few weeks. A registered company stays attributed to you for 12 months.
When and how are partners paid?
A fixed $25,000 per company, and only after the program pays us for a company you registered. We pay within 10 business days of receiving those funds, by ACH. Under current practice the program pays roughly 15 to 30 days after it accepts the company's data, which follows signing; that timing is the program’s and can change. Full terms are in the partner agreement.
