Privacy notice
What we collect, and what we don't.
DataReferrals is operated by Honey Financials LLC, 30 N. Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801. This notice describes the personal information this website collects, how it is used, and how to contact us. Last updated October 14, 2026.
The short version
We collect the contact details people give us so we can run a referral program: who the referral partner is, which company they introduced, and who at that company to talk to. We do not receive, store or process any company's business data or datasets. Any data licence is a separate agreement between the company and the AI data lab, on the lab's terms, and we are not a party to it.
Referral partners
When you create a partner account we collect your name and email address, and use the email to send you a one-time sign-in link. During onboarding we collect your legal name, optional entity name, phone number, state and mailing address, which appear on your agreement and tax forms. When you sign the agreement we record the name you typed, the time, your network (IP) address, your browser identifier, a cryptographic fingerprint of the exact text you signed, and the text itself. If you upload a W-9 or W-8 it is stored in private storage that only the owner can open, and is used solely for tax reporting.
Companies that partners register
Partners enter the company's name, website, size, location, systems and a decision-maker's name, title, email and phone, plus how they know them. We use this to review the registration, to pre-screen the company with the program (name, size, years and industry only, never contact details, until the company has agreed to be introduced), and to track the referral. We do not contact the decision-maker until the partner has made the warm introduction, or until they contact us.
Companies that contact us directly
If you use the form at /qualify we collect your company name, website, your name, title and work email, your answers to the fit questions, and anything you write in the notes. We use it to reply, to check whether the company was already registered by a partner, and, with your agreement, to introduce you to the lab. We may send you one acknowledgment email and our reply; we do not add you to a marketing list.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views and a small set of named funnel events (for example “signup started” or “company registered”). It does not use cookies and we do not attach names, emails or company names to events.
Service providers
Data is stored with Supabase (database, authentication and private file storage) and the site is hosted by Vercel. Transactional email is sent through Resend when configured. Each acts on our instructions. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with the AI data lab except as described above and only after the company has agreed to be introduced.
How long we keep it
Partner agreements, signatures and payout records are kept for at least seven years for tax and contract purposes. Lead and inquiry records are kept while the referral is active and for the attribution period that follows; you can ask us to delete inquiry records sooner.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing taylor@datareferrals.com. Partners can see most of their own information in the portal. If you are a decision-maker whose details a partner entered and you would rather we did not hold them, email us and we will remove them, which also ends the referral.
